Shyt thats awesome

It's so awesome how something so base as this game can still get right underneath the skin and scare the "shyt" out of you, compared to other games in the genre that are multi-million dollar, 100+ manpower projects. This one just gets right to the fucking point and doesn't look back. (Actually, the player does a lot of that, amirite?)

What's so strange is that the author's website on which he/she released this game on is no longer hosting the game or any references to it ever actually existing. The game was only out for a few days before I learned about it but by then it was already gone and I had to find alternate download locations for it. Kind of mysterious.

The game has the potential to be genuinely scary, since the source material is pretty creepy stuff when done well.

A game based on slender man? Awesome.
Speaking of which, anyone else watch Marble Hornets? Not trying to derail the thread, just curious.

EDIT: Just got around to playing it (seemed like a good activity for 3AM). Got 1 page and then decided to do nothing when Slendy showed up 'cause I was curious what happens. It was actually a pretty good scare but the game itself could use some work. The Slender Man's model looks really, well, goofy too.
