Help me,
I can't change my avatar (and my account is activated by email)
I keep getting this message:

I saw a Tutorial somewhere once but i can't find it anymore

This site doesn't host images so you have to upload your avatar to some other site (ex. Photobucket, TinyPic, ETC)

PS: Image must be 100 x 100 px

You should be able to upload your avatar now. I'm not sure what the issue is though. Was the file larger than 30kb? I enabled image resizing, so you might be able to upload the image now if you try again.

Since we've moved to the new host I've enabled self-hosted avatars, as long as they're under 30kb.

Edit: Doesn't seem to work

Mine was like that too, but I tried Photobucket.

Create a Photobucket account and upload your avatar.
After uploading, click on your picture and look on your left.
There should be a box that looks like this:


Copy the Direct Link and paste it in the box that says "Avatar URL" in your UserCP.

Click 'Change Avatar' and your done!

Hmm,

I can upload avatars, and upload large images that get resized. Are you getting the same error? It's probably a permission I've missed. I'll look into it (although I have an exam tomorrow so it might not be for a few days.)
