Ok so I downloaded the new Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver today
Unfourtunately, when you try to save in game, the game kinda freezes
The music is still playing, but the saving process doesnt end o.O
Is it just my rom or is this happening to everyone?
it happened the same to me when i downloaded soul silver you just have to patch the rom first, you can find different patches on Gbatemp, if one doesn't work for you try with the other patches, in my case it didn't fixed the game freezing up in random times, it freezes up every 20 to 30 minutes, but at least now i can save the game and restart it from the last point if it becomes frozen.

ehhh. I'm nervous about trying this game.Pokemon games have really gone up and down lately. For those who have started playing these what is the game play like? Is it like Pearl/Diamond or is it like the Ranger one?
iirc, It's a remake of pokemon gold and pokemon silver. I've not played them so I can't tell if it holds true to the original.
They are indeed remakes of Gold and Silver, which were, IMO, easily the best Pokemon games to date. And they play like the standard Pokemon games, not like the Ranger games (just like the original Gold and Silver).

Yeah, they're awesome. Next to yellow, Pokemon gold and silver are my favorite.

I liked the old ones better than daimond, pearl, and platinum. Gold and silver are freakin awesome. But I got stuck.

There should be a read me file. Just follow what it says. Open xDelta choose the patch you want the clean rom then hit patch.

I don't seem to have any problems with any patch ever since I've been patching games. Just follow the directions in the read me and you'll get it. If you don't then...you don't.

it froze on me when I went up some stairs in new bark town : /
I don't have any problems patching but just one thing. I didn't save for like 30 minutes and when I walked to a new screen it frozed on me.WTF!!
yea freezing seems to be happening more.. I use m3 simply, so maybe a newer flashcart fixes all that
