  Reset your password!
Posted by: leoedin - 01-01-2009 07:01 PM - Replies (21)

A lot of people have had trouble logging into the forum. Instead of trying repeatedly, please reset your password. For whatever reason, a lot of passwords haven't been copied across well.

It is possible that your password is known to the hacker. Do not change your password to your old one.
Although we don't believe the hacker got hold of the results from a phishing page that replaced the front page for a few hours, it is possible that they did. The hacker also has the forum database, and although the passwords are encrypted in the database, if your password isn't very long or complicated it could be discovered by brute-force.

**Important**

A lot of people have emailed with this problem.
If you can't log in after resetting your password, please log in with the prompt on the left after clicking THIS LINK.

The top login prompt isn't working for a lot of people.

Hi

Firstly. We were hacked. Anything that happened on Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday is lost. It got deleted by someone. Sorry.

Secondly, we've moved to a different piece of forum software. Why? It's better. I like it more, and it's not as hacked together. The themes have changed, but multi colours are available as usual.

Thirdly; the move has disrupted quite a lot of stuff. Karma may appear to be right (It's called reputation now...), but if someone adds or subtracts to it, the value resets. Cock. I've done my best, but the way it stores reputations in the database make it hard to modify.
Some post count has also been lost. If you had posts added on to reflect those made on the first GBATMW, they are no longer added on. (This forum software doesn't like it when you insert inflated numbers in, and when it counts the posts after the conversion, it sets them right).
All the news posts seem to have been truncated below "wii". I have no idea why this happened, and it doesn't seem to have happened anywhere else.

Hopefully you'll like it. If you don't, I guess I could give you a hug or something. I like it, and I would imagine that's what counts. I'm sure you'll get used to it.

Finally: Thanks for being loyal! If you see any cool MyBB plugins or themes, drop us a line and we'll install it. If you feel your account wasn't carried across properly, tell us. If you have piles, don't tell us!

  Nintendo's Own Wii ZAPPER.

Agreed. Or at the very least a cradle that had buttons on the sides so you didn't have to take your hand off the trigger to hit a button on the top. Preferably without the nunchuk attached to it.
